      What is a Public Data update? 

      A Public Data update is any data update provided by the public data sources present in the Federation and RDS data. In addition, these updates may contain small bug fixes. More information about the frequency of these updates and the linked update documents can be found here.  

      What is the possible impact of a Public Data update?

      This list below summarizes the changes that might be observed in DISQOVER after a Public Data update and the possible impact linked to these changes. 
      • Change (increase/decrease) in numbers of instances 
        • Open dashboards give updated results for the used query.
        • Watched dashboards for a query show update on added/removed instances.
        • Collections contain instances that no longer exist.
      • Change in values for instances
        • Open dashboards give updated results for the used query.
        • Watched dashboards for a query show update on added/removed instances.
      • Change in values of a filter containing linked instances
        • Open dashboard filtering on removed linked instances gives no results.

      Note: Public Data updates don't have impact on local pipelines and templates.
