Public Data updates

What is a Public Data update?

A Public Data update is any data update provided by the public data sources present in the Federation and RDS data. In addition, these updates may contain small bug fixes.

Changes that might be observed in DISQOVER after a Public Data update and the possible impact linked to these changes can be found here.

Frequency

The data timestamp is determined by the last update  done on the data source (i.e. the data download), as well as the time since the last refresh by the integration system (i.e. the data integration). The update documents (see below) provide more information on the update frequency. This includes the refresh schedule, specifying the frequency with which new data is downloaded from the original sources, the latest refresh check, stating when the refresh schedule was last executed, and the last modified date, specifying the date of the refresh check when new data was identified in the downloaded files.

Public Data update documents

All details on the specific data ingested from the sources is included in the update documents. For most sources, the complete set of data provided by these sources is included in DISQOVER. For other sources that do not ingest the complete dataset, these details are specified in the update documents.
